Driving Health

Membership Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how your individual Driving Health membership works, including payments, healthcare access, annual benefits, cancellations and renewals.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

Please read these terms before joining. By purchasing a Driving Health membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Notice and any specific terms shown when you select or claim a membership benefit.

1. About Driving Health

Driving Health is a trading name of PK MARS MEDICAL LTD, company number 12709058, registered in England and Wales.

Contact address: PK Mars Medical Ltd, A1 & A2 Regus, Methuen Business Park, Chippenham, SN14 0GT.

Email: hello@drivinghealthgroup.co.uk

These terms apply to individual Driving Health memberships purchased directly from us. Separate terms may apply to memberships funded by an employer or other organisation.

2. Membership prices and minimum term

Monthly Membership £29 + £14.99/month

£29 is charged when you join and covers your first month of membership.

Your first £14.99 recurring payment is due one calendar month after joining, followed by monthly payments.

The initial minimum membership term is 12 months.

The minimum scheduled price for the first 12 months is £193.89, made up of £29 plus eleven payments of £14.99.

Annual Membership £179/year

£179 is paid upfront for 12 months of membership.

There is no separate activation fee on the annual plan.

Annual membership renews annually unless cancelled in accordance with these terms.

Prices shown are the prices applicable when you purchase your membership. We will not increase your price during a period you have already paid for.

3. Joining and activation

You apply for membership by completing the joining process and accepting these terms. Your membership begins when we accept your application and send confirmation.

Your confirmation will include your membership start date, payment arrangement and instructions for accessing the services available to you.

Healthcare access is normally activated once the information needed to register you has been received and processed. Appointment availability is separate from account activation.

You must provide accurate information and tell us if any information relevant to your membership changes.

4. You and your family

Driving Health membership includes access to eligible healthcare and wellbeing services for the named member and eligible family members or dependants, subject to the rules of the healthcare service concerned.

Eligible dependant access may include a spouse or civil partner, children and certain other people for whom the member has qualifying parental, guardianship or caring responsibility.

Service specific eligibility, age limits and session limits may apply.

Where a child under 16 uses a remote GP service, a parent or legal guardian must normally arrange and attend the consultation.

The Driving Health MOT and Annual Driver Benefit are benefits of the named member and do not create a separate Annual Driver Benefit for every dependant.

5. Healthcare and wellbeing services

Your membership provides access to the healthcare and wellbeing services described in the membership offer you accepted.

These may include:

  • remote GP appointments;
  • mental health and wellbeing support;
  • physiotherapy support; and
  • dietitian support.

The remote GP service is delivered by an independent healthcare provider registered with the Care Quality Commission for relevant regulated activities.

Other healthcare and wellbeing services may be delivered by appropriately qualified independent providers.

Clinical decisions, including diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, referral and whether a consultation is clinically appropriate, are made by the healthcare professional responsible for your care.

Driving Health does not guarantee that a consultation will result in a diagnosis, prescription, referral, fit note, treatment or any particular clinical outcome.

The service is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 999 or use the appropriate NHS urgent care service.

6. Driving Health MOT – Medical Overview Tracker

Where available through your Driving Health account, the Driving Health MOT is a self completed health overview designed around health areas relevant to professional driving.

It is not an official D4 medical examination, medical diagnosis or formal assessment that you are fit or unfit to drive.

Your MOT may identify advisory topics based on the information you enter.

An advisory does not mean that you have failed a driver medical or that a medical condition has been diagnosed. It identifies information that you may wish to discuss with a healthcare professional.

You can choose to discuss an advisory with the remote GP service included with your membership or with your own GP or healthcare professional.

Your MOT is private and confidential

Driving Health does not send your MOT answers, advisory summary or MOT result to the DVLA, your licensing authority, your employer or your GP as part of the MOT service.

You decide whether you want to discuss or share the information with a healthcare professional.

Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice. This does not prevent a disclosure where we are required to make one by law.

7. Your Annual Driver Benefit

In each eligible membership year, the named member may choose one Annual Driver Benefit.

Your membership year is the 12 month period beginning on your membership start date and each subsequent anniversary.

Current Annual Driver Benefit choices are:

Driver Medical Allowance

Reimbursement of the eligible amount you personally paid for a qualifying driver medical, up to a maximum of £55.

Blood Pressure Monitor

Choose a Driving Health approved home blood pressure monitor as your Annual Driver Benefit. No cash alternative is available.

Specsavers Eye Care Benefit

Receive a Specsavers voucher providing an eligible eye examination plus up to £50 towards eligible glasses.

If the selected glasses cost more than £50, the member pays the difference. Where prescription glasses are not required, the allowance may instead be used towards eligible sunglasses, subject to the voucher terms.

The Specsavers voucher must be obtained and presented at the appointment. It cannot be backdated to an eye examination or purchase already completed.

Future health testing: Home and laboratory health tests are not included as a free Annual Health Benefit at present. Driving Health intends to offer selected tests to members at preferential member prices when these become available.

Partner discounts, offers and savings may also be made available to members. Participating partners and discount levels may change and are not guaranteed to remain available throughout a membership term unless expressly stated otherwise.

Unused Annual Driver Benefits do not automatically carry forward into the next membership year.

8. When your Annual Driver Benefit becomes available

Monthly members

Your Annual Driver Benefit becomes available after six successful £14.99 recurring monthly payments have been received in the relevant membership year.

The £29 activation payment covers the first month of membership and counts towards this six month qualifying period. Eligibility therefore begins at the start of month 7, provided all payments due have been successfully made.

This eligibility requirement applies again in each new membership year.

This means that after your initial 12 month term, a new Annual Driver Benefit does not become immediately available simply because a new membership year has started. Six successful recurring monthly payments must be received in that new membership year before that year’s Annual Driver Benefit is released.

Annual members

Your Annual Driver Benefit becomes available after the applicable 14 day cooling off period has ended and your annual payment has cleared.

Your membership must be active and payments up to date when a benefit is supplied or reimbursement is released.

9. Driver Medical Allowance

The Driver Medical Allowance provides up to £55 towards one eligible qualifying driver medical when you select it as your Annual Health Benefit.

The contribution is the lower of:

  • the amount you actually paid; or
  • £55.

For example, if an eligible medical costs £45, the maximum reimbursement is £45. If it costs £65, the maximum reimbursement is £55.

A qualifying medical may include an HGV, bus or coach, taxi or private hire, or other eligible occupational driver medical where the examination is genuinely required for your work, driving entitlement or licensing authority.

If your medical is due before your benefit unlocks

You do not need to wait to have the medical.

If the qualifying medical takes place after your Driving Health membership starts but before your Annual Driver Benefit becomes available, you may submit the claim early.

An approved claim can be held as pending and the reimbursement released once you have satisfied the applicable eligibility requirements.

Evidence required

We will normally ask you to upload a paid receipt, paid invoice or other suitable evidence showing:

  • your name;
  • the provider;
  • the date of the medical;
  • the service provided; and
  • the amount paid.

A booking or payment screenshot may be accepted where it provides sufficient evidence, although we may ask for further proof of payment or attendance.

We do not normally need your completed medical report or the result of your medical to process a reimbursement claim.

A medical already paid for or reimbursed by an employer, another organisation or another benefit scheme cannot also be reimbursed by Driving Health.

Approved reimbursements are normally paid to the member using the payment method we make available for claims.

Future Driving Health medical partners

We may introduce participating driver medical providers.

Where available, eligible members may be offered a choice between:

  • using their own qualifying provider and claiming up to £55 back; or
  • booking with a participating Driving Health medical partner where the qualifying medical may be provided at no additional cost to the member, subject to the terms shown at the time.

We may issue a unique one time benefit or booking code for partner medicals.

The partner may confirm the code, appointment or attendance date and amount charged to Driving Health so that we can validate and reconcile the benefit.

We do not require the medical outcome simply to reconcile a partner booking.

You cannot receive both a cash reimbursement and a partner funded medical for the same Annual Driver Benefit.

10. Blood Pressure Monitor Benefit

If you select a blood pressure monitor as your Annual Driver Benefit, Driving Health will supply a Driving Health approved home blood pressure monitor.

The exact make or model may vary according to availability.

No cash alternative is available.

The monitor is intended to help you monitor your blood pressure at home. It does not replace professional medical advice or an official driver medical.

11. Specsavers Eye Care Benefit

If you select the eye care option as your Annual Driver Benefit, you will receive the applicable Specsavers voucher.

The voucher must be obtained before your appointment and presented when attending the eye test.

The benefit cannot be backdated to an eye examination or purchase completed before the voucher was issued.

The current benefit provides:

  • an eligible eye examination; and
  • up to £50 towards eligible glasses.

Where a more expensive pair is selected, the £50 is deducted from the eligible price and you pay the difference.

If prescription glasses are not required, the allowance may instead be used towards eligible sunglasses.

The voucher is subject to the provider’s current voucher terms, participating store requirements and any applicable exclusions.

12. Renewal after your first membership year

Monthly membership

After the initial 12 month minimum term, monthly membership continues on a rolling monthly basis at the applicable monthly price unless you cancel.

You are not automatically committed to another 12 month minimum term.

After the initial term you may cancel your rolling membership before the next billing period in accordance with the cancellation process below.

The Annual Driver Benefit eligibility requirements in section 8 still apply in each new membership year.

Annual membership

Annual membership automatically renews for another 12 months unless you cancel.

We will contact you at least one month before your renewal date and tell you:

  • your renewal date;
  • the renewal price; and
  • how to cancel if you do not wish to renew.

We may offer a promotional or loyalty discount at renewal. Any such discount is discretionary and does not create an entitlement to the same discount in future years.

Under our policy, annual renewals have a 14 day renewal cooling off period. A new Annual Driver Benefit will not be released until that period has ended.

13. Cancelling your membership

Your first 14 days

You may cancel your initial membership within 14 days without giving a reason.

Under our policy, where you cancel during that initial cooling off period we will refund the membership payment we have received, including the £29 activation payment where applicable.

Future payments will be stopped and membership access will end.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and normally within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

Monthly membership after the cooling off period

Monthly membership has an initial 12 month minimum term.

You may give notice during the initial term for your membership to end at the end of that minimum term.

After the initial term your membership is rolling monthly and can be cancelled in accordance with your next billing date.

If exceptional circumstances mean you need to leave during the initial minimum term, please contact us. We will consider your legal rights and individual circumstances, including serious illness, bereavement, loss of eligibility or financial hardship.

Annual membership

Annual membership is purchased for a 12 month period.

Outside an applicable cooling off period, there is no automatic right to a pro rata refund simply because you choose not to use the service, unless these terms, our failure to provide the service or the law gives you a right to cancel or receive a refund.

How to cancel

Email: hello@drivinghealthgroup.co.uk

You do not need to use special wording. Please give your name and the email address connected with your membership so that we can identify your account.

14. If your employer starts paying for Driving Health

If your employer or another approved organisation later purchases Driving Health membership for you, you may ask us to transfer your individual membership to employer funded membership once that cover has been confirmed.

Monthly members

Your personal recurring payments will stop when the employer funded membership takes effect.

We will waive the remaining personal payment obligation under your initial minimum term from that date.

Annual members

We will normally refund unused full months of your individual annual membership on a pro rata basis.

Where your Annual Driver Benefit has already been supplied or reimbursed during that membership year, we may make a fair adjustment to reflect the actual cost or value already provided. We will explain any adjustment before processing the transfer.

Employer funding does not give your employer access to your private Driving Health MOT information or private healthcare information.

If employer funded membership later ends, we may allow you to return to an individual membership without paying another £29 activation payment, provided you transfer within the timeframe we give you.

15. Changes to services and benefits

We may make reasonable operational changes, replace suppliers, devices or services with reasonably equivalent alternatives, or make changes required by law, regulation, safety or provider availability.

We will not use this clause to remove a material promised core benefit without providing an appropriate remedy.

If a material part of the membership can no longer be provided, we may offer an appropriate alternative, price adjustment, cancellation right or refund for an affected unused period.

Third party member discounts, future discounted health tests and promotional offers may change and do not form a guaranteed permanent core benefit unless expressly stated in your confirmed membership.

16. Privacy, confidentiality and your records

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

Health information requires additional protection and will be handled accordingly.

Driving Health does not routinely receive the private clinical notes created by healthcare professionals merely because you use an included healthcare service.

Healthcare providers maintain their own clinical records in accordance with their own legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

Where Driving Health provides a member portal, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure and notifying us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.

Accepting these membership terms is not consent to receive marketing. Marketing preferences are managed separately.

17. Complaints

For complaints concerning your Driving Health membership, payments, benefits, website or account, contact:

hello@drivinghealthgroup.co.uk

We will investigate your complaint and keep you informed of the outcome.

Clinical complaints relating to a consultation, treatment or clinical decision should be raised with the healthcare provider responsible for that service. We can help identify the appropriate complaints route where necessary.

18. Our responsibilities and your rights

We will provide the services for which Driving Health is responsible with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

General health information provided on the Driving Health website, MOT screens or member dashboard is not a substitute for individual medical advice.

If you are concerned about your health or your fitness to drive, you should seek appropriate professional advice and comply with any legal obligations that apply to you.

19. Website and account use

You must not misuse the Driving Health website or member portal, interfere with its security or use another person’s account without authority.

Links to external healthcare providers, partners or other websites may be provided for convenience. Separate purchases or services supplied directly by those organisations may be subject to their own terms.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights available to you because of where you live.

If you live in Scotland, you may also use the Scottish courts where applicable.
